We’ve been receiving many questions regarding vaccinations in recent weeks,
so here are the most frequently asked questions.

We hope to clarify our current procedures to help you and all people feel safe
when entering The ScoliClinic’s spaces.

Q: Do I need to present a vaccine passport to enter The ScoliClinic?

A: Not at this time. As we are an essential, primary healthcare service, we will not require any clients or family to present their vaccine passport to enter our clinics or attend appointments.

We still ask that clients bring only 1 family member if they wish to have someone accompany them to their appointment.

Q: Do I need to be vaccinated to enter The ScoliClinic?
Will you ask?

A: No and no. We have many clients who are not eligible to get a vaccine, like those who are under the age of 12 or who have other outstanding medical conditions. We acknowledge that there are many reasons that people may be hesitant to receive a COVID-19 vaccination, and we encourage those people to discuss concerns with their family doctor. We will not be adding this question to our screening questionnaire.

Please note that we are maintaining the high level of sanitation and protective equipment/practices that we’ve been implementing and evolving since the beginning of the pandemic to reduce the risk of transmission.

Q: Is my therapist vaccinated?

A: Yes – we are proud to share that ALL our staff, therapists and administrative staff alike, are double vaccinated and continue to responsibly adhere to public health guidelines inside and outside of the clinic.

Q: Okay that all sounds good but I’m still worried…

A: We understand – Telehealth Physiotherapy sessions continue to be a beneficial option that allows you to receive treatment from the comfort of your home.

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to call us. We’re happy to share more info about our policies.
