A little about me:

I am from and was raised in a small countryside town in Puerto Rico, have lived and explored the states of Colorado, California, Florida, and Connecticut in the U.S.
Now, I study, explore, and live in beautiful Vancouver, B.C.

I am a graduate of Langara College’s Registered Massage Therapy Program, which is a recognized school in the CMTBC bylaws. Langara is also accredited with the national accrediting body for massage therapy education in Canada, the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation (CMTCA).

I enjoy walking my dogs, hiking, traveling, and reading to stay up to date on the science of massage. Promoting patient education, in efforts to help them understand possible contributing factors to their symptoms, and help patients manage their own symptoms beyond treatments, by encouraging them to participate in active rehabilitation.

I have worked as a Community Ambassador for the Arts, Linguist, Phlebotomist, Trainer for Youth Gang Prevention, Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Victim Advocate, Youth Support Partner for LGBTQIA+, and as a Licensed Massage Therapist before moving to Vancouver.

What to expect in a session with me:

I enjoy thinking outside the box with those I work with to see what is effective for them and how we can better individualize the treatment based on their journey to rehabilitation or whatever recover may look like for them.

I enjoy working with the nervous system; its tolerance, preference, and responses to treatment. Sometimes we need to modify our approach to see if a different method may be more effective for the person receiving the treatment, so that longer term results can be achieved.
