A little about me:
I was born and raised in Kenya and moved to Vancouver in 2016 for University. I come from an extended family who currently still live in Kenya. Having lived in an extended family setting (12 people) I have been brought up to value strong meaningful connections. Moving away from home at the age of 18 to a new city was probably one of the most difficult things I have done, but this journey has thought me a lot about myself and most importantly allowed me recognize my strengths and work on my weaknesses.
I’m currently completing my undergraduate degree at Simon Fraser University, majoring in Kinesiology. I aspire to be a physiotherapist in the upcoming years, and The ScoliClinic is a wonderful place for me to gain valuable experience by helping others.
What you can expect from an interaction with me:
Being the first person you communicate with when you contact The ScoliClinic, I want you to know that I’m here to listen and support you through your scoliosis journey. I want to be able to get to know each one of you and build a strong relationship. I aim to be clear in my messaging, and kind and respectful in my delivery.
I look forward to having conversations with you while I’m at the front desk, whether it be about your scoliosis journey or your general interests – I am all ears!
