Custom-Designed Scoliosis Workshops For You & Your Team

If you’re a healthcare or movement professional who works directly with clients, then there’s a high chance that some of them have scoliosis (incidence rate: 3% of adolescents and up to 60% of adults of the age of 60!).

Information on scoliosis isn’t commonly taught, and theoretical facts found on google may not provide the tips for practical application that you really need. Our senior therapists filter this information for you, creating customized workshops for you and your team, to streamline the info into immediately actionable strategies for your practice.

Over the past few years, we’ve been doing exactly this for our colleagues here in Vancouver, and now we’re excited to open this up to the world.

Examples of past customizations:

  • Master of Physical Therapy students learned how to identify, assess, and appropriately refer clients with scoliosis, as they were about to enter the workforce in a variety of practice areas

  • Paediatric Physiotherapists learned similarities and differences between idiopathic and neurological scoliosis, and how to adapt Schroth-based principles for kiddos with cognitive and physical challenges

  • A group of Physiotherapists and Clinical Pilates instructors working together in a studio learned  for modifying mat, reformer, and other equipment choreography to suit the needs of each client

  • A group of Kinesiologists learned about biomechanics to consider while coaching their clients through resistance training and weightlifting.

So how does it work?
